Waxing Services
Does it hurt? For some yes - the first time usually hurts more. But, if you wax monthly,
as we suggest, we are removing less hair each time with noticeably less discomfort.
For a successful wax service, there must be at least three weeks growth. Acutane use,
laser or chemical peels must have been completed six months prior to waxing services. If
you are using Retin A, Renova or any other aggressive topical agents, we strongly suggest
a consultation with our estheticians before booking a facial waxing appointment. We strongly
advise you to avoid the sun, hot baths, saunas, abrasives, and deodorant for the first
twelve hours after waxing. Products maybe recommended in order to support your waxing
treatment. (We use Cirepil Wax)

After Wax Care
After waxing we insist that you avoid sunlight, tanning beds, hot water, scrubbing,
soaking (swimming pool, bath, sauna) for 12 hours.
Hair must be at least 1/4" long (at least 2 weeks after shaving). If you are using
Accutone or Retin-A you may not be waxed.
